Smoke, Fog, Dry Ice

Smoke, Fog and Dry Ice – all great special effects for creating atmosphere

Dry ice effects have some key advantages over smoke effects; dry ice does not set off smoke alarms in sensitive venues, and dry ice vanishes without a trace very quickly.

Halo FX are experienced in developing bespoke ducting systems for dry ice and smoke effects to channel it under stages and around sets creating unusual effects.

The presenter pictured on stage is “walking in the clouds”. He is walking on a moving travelator set in the stage, with dry ice low fog ducted from below around the travelator.

Our Dancing in the Clouds Dry Ice effect is popular at weddings for the bride and grooms first dance, and we use it a lot in theatres and on corporate launch events to create atmosphere.
